Paramotor Power Environment Course: Your Path to Powered Flight

This comprehensive course provides you with the essential theoretical knowledge and understanding required to safely and legally operate a paramotor and successfully pass the relevant power exam. We will cover a range of topics specific to powered paragliding, building upon your existing paragliding foundation.

We will cover the following key topics:

  1. The power unit (the paramotor) – parts of, how they function and interact
  2. 2 Stroke Engines
  3. Propellors
  4. Visual Flying Rules
  5. Low flying rules

Assessment:

Your understanding of these topics will be assessed through a theoretical examination, as required by the BHPA for powered pilot certification.

This course aims to equip you with the essential theoretical foundation to operate a paramotor safely, legally, and responsibly. Practical flight training with a qualified instructor is, of course, a vital component of becoming a competent powered paraglider pilot. Good luck with your studies!
